I think what your looking for is an overflow tank...it is in your drivers side fender, behind your tire tread is a panel on the fenderwell that opens to access it. Beware that the only rust on my 86 is in this area, the designers mounted the tank on top of the rocker basically and on the sides put foam. The drain gutter is right over top of this so the foam gets soaked with water and holds it between the outter fender skin and the tank brace.
