So I'm in the middle of my interior refurb, got the wood trim fitted (including the SRS panel thanks Thomas !) and the seats are out for covering, then i spotted (no pun intended) what looks like freckles on the top of my instrument binacle. At first i thought they were reflections from the windscreen, but no, they're actually dark spots bleeding out of the vinyl.....Doh ! Anyone seen this phenomenon before ?
I tried cleaning them but to no avail, so I think the only option is to 'paint' the dash top, where they occur, which leads me to the question, does anybody know where I can find the color for the dash, on a 95 Jag with NDR interior, so that i can buy the paint (dye) correctly matched ?
It's some kind of Brown color, Biscuit I suspect, but I'm not sure, and matching colors on the internet is not easy ............ :O)

Found a chart in the FAQ (which I should have looked in first ..... Doh !) and apparently it's coffee ...............still, anybody else seen this spotting phenom ?

Mold? Wood's looking sharp.

 

I don't think it's mold, it's actually into the plastic, I tried cleaning it with all sorts of cleaners, and it's made no difference. I'm thinking it may have been painted before. Anyway it looks like I will need to get a vinyl paint, like SEM, and coat it. Just need to match the color ............... :O)
@Flint Thanks, it was a pain in the @rse to do the airbag door, but now it's all done, it was worth it !
