Default Discontinued Parts

If an item is no longer manufactured, hinge clamp, for the under dash panel on the drivers side on 1995 XJS, what is one to do.

If you mean just the hinge clip BEC2524, I would think that's really easy to find from any XJS breakers. It's not colour-coded and not usually broken so any scrap XJS from about 1981 onwards should still have it intact.

What's the problem? Is it broken, or does the panel keep falling open? I have the latter. I found that part #6 in the diagram is broken. Luckily I think I can find a part like that in a hardware store.

Prior owner broke all the clips in taking the panel off.

That would certainly take some effort! Keep me posted on what you find, my panel keeps falling down. I'm wondering if that missing hoop piece will help keep everything where it's supposed to be, or whether I need to replace, or tighten those parts somehow.
