Honestly the car runs just as well / better with those bits if stock IME / I personally wouldn't remove the same.

Is your pump making noise or have other issues?

I removed my airpump and mechanical fan (and A/C because mine is a convertible) and relocated the alternator with a GM style where the airpump used to be.

I removed all the plumbing for the air pump on mine to gain better access and clean it up a little, stage two is like JameyXR6 is to remove the pump and move the alternator to that position and put in twin thermo fans. Only I will use a smaller after market AC pump and put it where the alternator was.
For the air lines, simply remove them and disconnect from the back of the motor, you will then have to plug all those holes where they went into the manifold, I simply tapped them and used a bolt and washer. While you are digging around down there its a good chance to service the car as most of the rubbish has to be removed to get into some places.
