Anyone know where I could buy an evaporator core for a 1996 Jag XJS Conv 4.0L? Can't seem to find one that is in stock or it is unavailable.

DAVID MANNERS did have them, I know because they sent me one by mistake for my h.e. which they didn't have, in the end I got one from the states via eBay,

Entire car has to come apart.

This is a job you don't want to have to do or have done again. Make sure you get the best part you can find. The conclusion my mechanic and I came to after researching was that he copper units are more durable than the aluminum ones. The cheap discount ones are usually aluminum and poorly build. This job
Was so difficult, that I would have bought a solid platinum evaporator core if I knew it existed.
