1996 Jaguar Xjs convertible
all the lens I see on eBay look dark is this factory ????

100% factory. If you failed inspection, go to a different inspector.

I'm sure showing them the manufacturing stamps and numbers won't help you, but you can't argue with every google images return showing tinted factory lights.

Show them a Jag brochure. Then hit them over the head with it.
