Default Halo Headlights for XJS

Anyone done a successful installation of halo headlights in their XJS? I have halogen sealed beams in my '91 coupe, and with the fog lights on they work pretty well but...thought the halos would look good and give better light. Do a fair amount of nighttime highway driving.

Thanks.

Are the Cibies essentially conversion units that replace the sealed beam housing and let you use an H1/H4 bulb? Did it require any modifications? May just go that way if its a simpler installation.

Seller of this eBay auction indicates his halo headlights are compatible with my '91 coupe, but his ad doesn't allow for questions to find out if any modificatiions are required. Opinions?

Default Replacement Headlights Options

After much thought I've decided the halos are too BMW-y for my XJ-s, so am now considering either better sealed beams (e,g, Sylvania Xtravision) or some conversion kit to fit separate H1/H4 bulbs. Any suggestions? Currently have a mix of old standard Sylvanias and Wagners installed.
