My handbrake switch decided to stop working. This means control light is on all the time and the Stop light warning light illuminates every time I use the brake. Not good.

Drivers seat out, cover removed.
It turned out the issue was too much sideways play in the micro switch lever, which therefore didn't get actuated by the cam on the handbrake lever.

I decided to solve it by adding a small sheet metal guide, that keeps the microswitch arm correct position sideways. Easy quick fix
