Default Headlight Conversion - High Beam - Low Beam

I am preparing to convert my '95 XJS with Euro lights to the earlier US style lights. I have tried to convince myself to not do this, but I do think the quads look pretty cool.

My question is, do the High Beam lamps mount on the inboard or outboard. I am thinking that the regular beams go on the outside and the high beams on the inside, but I want to make sure.

How did Jaguar mount them?

Thanks.

You're right. The low beams go to the outside.

Are you going for sealed beam headlamps or the halogen H4 type. Mine has the H4 bulbs and has all 4 on when on mainbeam (high) and outer on dipped beam (low)....see how l'm trying to teach you Yanks how to speak Brit........

All 4 lights are on when you switch to high beams on the standard US 4-light system as well. The outer lights are Hi/Lo.

That said, I have all the materials needed, and will be upgrading the headlight wiring (per "The Book"), and converting to 4 round Euro-spec H4 Cibies.
