In the OP's case, that's dealing with a company in another country.

If the car needs service, who is going to service it? A Chevy dealer won't touch a 30+ year old Jag, and a Jag specialist will say they know nothing about GM engines. Getting a dead car shipped or towed 4300 km away to a foreign country to have it repaired is an expensive endevour and a red tape nightmare dealing with customs both ways.

Really appreciate everyone’s feedback (and the pictures. Based on the various feedback I think I am going to keep it original for now.
