Default heated seat wiring

92 convertible. The wiring diagrams show an adjustable pot. One in each seat. I assume they are to control the temperatures. Anyone know where they are and how are they supposed to work? I ohmed each side and one is at 1.7 and the other 1450.

the units are in the seat backs. They are easy to get to. Unscrew the retaining screws on the seat back bottom and the panel falls away providing full access to the wiring and heating units.

I went out today and pulled then seat back off the drivers seat. I have the seats out of the car, setting in the shop. I thought I found the pot in a leather pouch but it turned out to be the lumbar pump assembly. The wire from the heat control connection comes from under the seat cushion and disappears under the seat back cushion. The pot must be up under the seat cover. I'm planning on installing new covers so I will eventually find it but I want to wait on receiving the new covers before removing the old ones. I hadn't even thought about the lumbar pump until I saw it there. The tube going to the air bag was brittle and broken.
