Default Help identify these aftermarket wheels

Can anyone tell me who makes these wheels or where I might find these? I found this pic on this forum, and DM'd the original poster but have not heard a reply. Any help is appreciated.

Yes they do. However I know there are some alternatives that have the same look at a much lower price and was hoping these might be them. In fact I've found some, but just not in the bolt pattern I need for my XJS. Was hoping this was what I was searching for. Thanks!

A wheel much like that is CCW, Complete Custom Wheels, Daytona Fl.

these were only 16" but he makes them in many sizes, he can make them to your spec. CUSTOM. forged centers, not cast!

Thanks for the tip... but I'm picky and looking for that wheel exactly. Covered lugs etc. Is that something CCW can do?

Thanks I did look at the site... no luck with what I'm looking for. I want the BBS RS look but not the price. Ain't that the story of my life? What's worse is I found a company that makes them, exactly - and at a very reasonable price - but not in the bolt pattern I need

I should say that I'm not a real fan of aftermarket wheels - on any car - but more so on a Jag IMHO. I like the stock look almost always and without exception. The BBS RS wheel though is a classic that I do really like, especially on a Jag. Other aftermarket wheels just look wrong on the car IMHO. I'm old school I know.

BMW Style 5 wheels by BBS. You can find them in 17” or 18”. Plenty of aftermarket knock offs out there too.

they look a lot like the jnc wheels i have on my car, 18x8.5 30mm offset mine were a demo display set i found online, i had to have the lug pattern re drilled and the center bores opened up but still was only around $600 for the set.

Yes - these are the ones I was talking about - JNC wheels. So how does the lug pattern re-drilling work and who does that? How big of a modification was that from the original pattern? Did you re-drill the existing holes or drill 5 new ones? Please tell me more about your experience.

I really like the original lattice on it. But I made a modification to the big brakes, and lattice really wanted to.

At that time there was not much choice of 18 inches. There was the Dare RS and the Caliber RS.

I bought Dare were offered with a large choice of sizes. I bought different wide rims 9×18"rear and 8×18"front and I had to have the lug pattern redrilled and the center bores opened up.

I don't remember prices but that was cheaper than Aston used wheels.

Thank you I found their website. So what offset did you use? What kind of shop can help with the re-drilling and opening up the center bores? Also did you just re-drill the existing holes, or did you drill 5 new ones?

Thank you again for your help! Love those wheels!

i don't think ill be selling mine i would kinda like to get a little wider rim like a 9.5-10 to try to squeeze every bit of tire i can get on my car, the 265's on it now are a little pinched on a 8.5" rim. but even if i do go to wider rims id probably end up putting a set of dedicated street tires on this set and then a set of track tires on the wider rims. so i still wouldn't be likely to be looking to sell them.

there 18x8.5 with a +30mm offset. for the front i feel this is perfect, on the rear it works but it is pushed outwards to the fender lip a little more than to the inside. it does have plenty of clearance though. 25-28mm offset in the rear would probably be a little better. but i clear 265/35/18's all the way around with no rubbing what so ever even with track use. running the same size and rim all the way around is nice so you can rotate your tires.

as far as the the machine work i believe ordering new you can specify your exact offset lug pattern and center bore. so you wouldn't need to have any of that done. mine was a used set of display rims, i spent a extra $150 getting them re drilled and bored i think i paid something like 450 for the set then spent another 150 on that but they were like new so still probably not a bad deal the seller i bought the rims from took care of getting that stuff done for me.

if you ask around some local shops that sell rims im sure they could probably point you to someone who can re drill a set of rims if you really needed to.

5 new holes were drilled rather than the existing holes being re drilled. so if you take the center cap off there is 10 bolt holes in the rim. they basically just off set it and drilled 5 new holes.

Thanks for the info! So JNC said previously that they could drill the wheels for my XJS but "there is no guarantee of fitment" so that scares me a little. I am looking at going with a 7" width x 16" wheel and tire size of 225/60/16 or a 235/60/16. What offset would you suggest for basic stock wheel and tire size, but with a custom rim? I believe stock offset is 32 but am not sure - does anyone know for sure?

i think the stock offset is more like +20/+25 when you go with a wider rim you have to add ofset to keep the rim centered somewhere in the 20/25 range is where i think your going to want to be on a 7" wide rim. check the center bore size the xjs has kinda a odd center bore you can have them cut the center bore when they re drill the rim if you need.
