There are a few different options to consider, and your budget will probably dictate if you choose to ship it via an open or enclosed trailer.

I shipped my 87 XJSC from Sacramento to Chicago using Intercity Lines. It was a fantastic experience. Enclosed trailer is all they offer, and the car arrived just as I left it. Very professional and careful driver. It was about $1,500 if I remember, but well worth it in my opinion.

Their website: About Us - Intercity Lines, Inc

Jay Leno uses them for his cars, so that should help reassure you a bit!

Welcome the boards! Post some pics, and even though you describe it as perfect, set aside some funds for maintenance.

I have had some experience. Where you shipping from and to? Internet search, you'll get a lot of responses to you questions. I found a good one from San Diego to San Francisco for $350.
Last year I shipped my mother in-laws Yaris from Los Angeles to North Carolina for $650.

Are you still looking for a transporter to move your car?
I had my XKR moved from Orlando Florida to Seattle Washington in an enclosed carrier. It took about 5 days and cost $1200.

I was happy with the service and the car was in perfect condition when delivered
