Hi folks, you might find this link to a whole host of Jaguar electrical diagrams to be a useful source for electrical information. (came accross it with m0t0rm0uth last Autumn)

The site seems to include most Jaguar models by Model/Year. There is undoubtedly some repetition, but there are just too many files for me to download and cross reference them all.

The files are in pdf. format and as is stated, some of them are quite large.

Anyone else not able to get on Captain Jaguars Electrical Drawings???

 

It hasn't been working for a couple of weeks now.

 

I'm in need of full diagrams for the headlight and running light wiring on a 1994 Jaguar XJS 4.0 that can be printed out and easily read. Any help please???

 

I have a file for a '95 that I've found most helpful working on my '96. Not sure how applicable it is for the '94 but I suspect it might be useful. I can't get it to upload to this site but if you email me at Brownfam53@yahoo.com , I'll email it to you.

If you need the service manual I'm not sure if that's available online without buying the CD Rom or physical manual.

 

I have the 1994 (4.0L) XJS Electrical Guide that I acquired from the Captain's years ago. It has helped me a lot over the years. It is a 79 page, 5.9 MB pdf document, so I'd assume that it should be OK to send across electronically. Anybody who needs this document, give me your email on a private message and I'll send you the '94 XJS electrical guide.

Similarly, I also have the same document that applies to the '91/'92 MY XJS. It is a larger, 232 page document. Since this manual doesn't apply to my '94, I haven't been looking at it, so I never noticed that the title only says "XJS Service Manual Volume 5", but no model year, but I remember that I downloaded it at the same time I did the '94 model, so I'm quite sure it is the correct electrical manual for the '91/'92 XJS.

on that note I just bought the electrical guide for 87 88 89 xjs this has got to be the best thing they ever put out for this car no more guessing . I am not sure how to load stuff but I will also help if I can with those models together we can defeat this electrical monster
