Long time owner, new to forum
We have a 1994 Jaguar XJS 4.0, red, VIN SAJNX2746RC189417, that was ordered in 1994 and we have had since. It is the "Red Convertible" that seems a common desire for wives of that era, mine no exception. It was her car but seldom used. Always stored in the winters, with trickle battery maintainer, and never out in the rain. We average about 2000 miles annually with it being most commonly used for grandkids prom transportation.
We appreciate this forum and now that we are beginning to see some signs of aging in the Jag, hopefully the experiences of others will be of help. Conversely, I may be able to assist others on occasion.

looking to sell my 2000 S-type! Hate the idea but due to disability caused by my lower back I have no choice. The 4.0 L is silver with white leather, in great shape. Only has 85,500 miles on her, garaged from day one. The man before me had complete files of maintenance it was so impressive. I added 4 chrome wheels and new tires, and built a garage so the care that was taken could continue. I live in New England so the weather can be unpredictable. Will be posting photos tomorrow , really hate to sell my JAG but I really struggle to get in and out of it due to the 2 plates and 10 screws in my lower back. Doc says I should sell and get a pick up truck thats higher of the ground. THANKS for now, glad I found this forum. RIGGO70CHIP
