New member and new to me 1990 XJS convertible V12 5.3
I'm new to the forum, live in Oklahoma city,OK- USA My new to me 1990 XJS Black convertible V12 5.3
Acquired 4 days ago mint looking, garage kept 62,000 miles has set in garage last 2 years started once a month but not driven, had to replace tires they were dated 1996 and looked new but had flat spot from setting.Everything original, paint not a scratch looks new, interior looks new from front allllll the way to back. LOL
Top is in same new looking shape as the rest head liner looks new.
Have all original books on car,all receipts from day one. Has a few minor electrical problems mainly interior bulbs top not going up or down and top motor does work right rear window does not work. First few times it went into passing gear when slowed down would not shift out of first unless I snapped the accelerator. After a few days of driving without going into passing gear it finally started shifting right.Had a leak in heater hose replaced. The only thing I don't like I'm 6' 1" 192 lbs when I wear C B boots not much room, forget about the hat. Probably stop wearing boots when I drive the Jag. Love the Jag.
Will add pics when I figure out how to do.Did the reading for new members, lot of info in there will have to read 9 or 8 times.
What I like most, this forum appears to be very friendly.
Thank you fromOklahoma.
