Default New Rims a Miss for now 88 xjs

Looking at a really nice 16" rim with 245/50/16's on them.New tires perfect shape rims for 400.00. Lug pattern is the same.

Took my rim off tried to slip one of these on and (TROUBLE) The center hole in the rim will not fit over the bearing cap. 2/16 to small. I could shave a little off but then the hub would stick out the rim and the center caps for the rims would not work. Could go with spacers and longer studs, but damn how much work and cost would that be. The guy left one rim with me so i could try to figure something out in a day or two. I think i may have no hope with this one. They sure would look nice. any takers or suggestions??????????

Unhappy

well after looking at all the post about wheel size, rim size, off sets, centerline hub centric spacers, Benards web-site, im more confused than ever. Maybe i should go with regular ol tires that fit these starfish rims.

I had one of these rims on the lugs while the car was jacked up, will only go so far on, but man what a sight they'd be georgous on there.

Jag wheels fit. The front hub stickout is an issue sometimes, but a flat spacer fixes that.

If you want a bolt on 16" solution, look at the 95-98 XJ6 or 98-00 XJ8. The later XJS 16" wheels also are a bolt on.
