Next problem lol
Evening all, i am currently cutting all the rust out of my 89 v12 convertible.next area of work is drivers side rear wheel arch, from the top of the sill up.the problem i have is the rear quarterlight on this side is in the hood down position.i know it works as ive had it up before with the hood but its a bit tempremental and didnt raise with the hood last time. Now i need to cut and carve its in the way.all the interior is stripped out.im no electrician but wondered if there was a way to put some power to it independently to raise it out of the way? All hood pump and relays are in the car as should be. Any help gratefully accepted.
You could use a 12v battery with jumper leads to power the window. Disconnect the plug at the window and with the battery one way the window will go down, swap the + and - the window will go up.
