Default Nice to see some progress!

Somebody once said that restoring a classic car makes you feel like your opening the bedroom window every so often and throwing a load of money out and nothing changes. Well I've felt like that for a while after chipping away at my convertible for the last 18 months but in the last few weeks things have changed. I removed the engine with a great deal of help and patience from grant. Thank you. And now the front and rear subframes are off the car ready for refurbing over the winter. Not that much welding left to do as all the big jobs are done and I've got one eye on putting it back together. It won't be anytime soon but I can see my efforts are starting to pay off. Much is owed to the assistance from the lads on here and sometimes when you've had enough it's nice to walk away and know your not the only one! Much obliged all.

I know where you're coming from mate... My car's body has been untouched now for like at least 6 months. All prepared for welding the engine bay... The engine is coming along slowly bit nicely. Last mistake to make is to rush things. Slow and steqdy wins the race...
