Hell yes.
Like Castrol oil ONLY.
It was a marketing thing from the Fossil age. Money for brand loyalty in the factory.
Many brands did similar stuff.
We V12 people, in particular, are smarter than the average, and know better.

Not sure there is an equivalent as such.
I have used Tectaloy Gold Concentrate in all the Jags, up to and including the X300's. NO issues at all.
My newer "things" have the Penrite Red Longlife 8 year stuff.
No sealers or such like in any Jag since the MK7.

Hmmmm.
FWIW I never use add-in rust inhibitors. Frankly, the thought has never occurred to me. I thought coolant already contained such inhibitors. I just flush and refill every 2-3 years or so....and have never had rust problems.
Cheers

Memory, HAHAHA.
I can picture Castrol Rust Inhibitor, in a TIN can, on the Parts Shelf.
$3 per tin. Never sold many, ever.
Fast forward 6 months, maybe 1 year. same tins, same store, I worked there, noticed a Green snail trail from under these tins, They were rusting out from the inside.
All sorts of spin from Castrol, of course.

A good semi-truck 50/50 coolant should vastly exceed the coolant specs. I always use CAT EC-1 certified long life stuff, good for 900,000 miles.
if you want rust preventative in it's purest form buy a jug of Rust Converter and toss it in, be prepared to flush black sand shortly after.
