Passive to active seat belt conversion

Passive to active seat belt conversion
Hey all, acquiring an 88 XJSC fitted with the annoying auotmatic/passive seat belts. They're currently in working order, but I've heard its possible to change it over to the active/manual seat belts. Can anyone provide guidance on what I would need and how difficult this conversion is? Thanks
