Hi all,
Yesterday drove home a 1996 XJS 4.0L. 1088xx miles as the last owner said it stop working months ago and my 100+ mile trip did not register.
I am in need of your help getting the speedometer right.
Symptom's: *** Speed gauge moves off post to zero when started. *** Odometer does not log miles and push trip meter does not either.

What I have been told. the sensor that goes to transmission is showing "zero ohms" it is the causes and should replace it?
I am having a hard time finding this sensor does anyone know the part number? I just don't want to **** away $175 on a used part .... to find out it's the wrong part.
