Hose went out on my 1994 xjs 4.0 VIN 191283. I nearly orderd the wrong hose as it is listed wrong on most sites. Luckily I looked deeper in to the part number and found the hose is for the v12 and not my car. So it turns out the hose for my vehicle is no in stock anywhere. The few places that do have it are charging too much. So I have two options:

1. hydraluic shop
2. universal hose with AN 6 fittings.

If I go the universal route, what size hose and fitting will I need? Hydraulic route I will pull the hose and have it copied. Should be about $100. My guy will prob do stainless for the same price as he usually does for my motorcycle brake lines. Local parts shop will be the most convenient at the moment...
