Default Require a Facelift Rear Bumper

Does anyone know of any sources to purchase facelift rear bumpers?
(The only example I have found is on ebay so far - https://www.ebay.co.uk/c/1553775976)

go to member marketplace. If you scroll down far enough you should find a disassembler in the Los Gatos area of CA. He was breaking up a 94 vert. He may have a rear bumper available. Good luck.

Greyhound,

As you've realised, you'll need to find a used item or else pay the £1500 that is the price of a new one from Jaguar. So, ebay or the usual XJS breakers in the UK. If you buy a used item, then look carefully along the top front edge where it meet the body. These tend to be slightly ripply if the car has had a knock. You can sometimes improve them by clamping the edge between 2 bits of wood and gently heating with a hairdryer.

Good luck

Paul

I know that these guys have a few face lift parts cars. Usually have a batch of xjs parts cars in stock. Seem to buy a lot of the " flood cars " etc from the auctions. Good source of all xjs parts. I've dealt with them with no problems. store.eurolineparts.com 916-850-0092...... https://losangeles.craigslist.org/ws...040115651.html
Hope this helped

Have you tried Eurojag? Shipping one across the Atlantic will be prohibitively expensive, you'd be better off buying a new one from Jaguar rather than a used one one for what shipping would cost.

Unfortunately that would cost a lot to ship to UK. (Thread owner is in UK)

The seller of that ebay listing only ships to the USA anyway, so trans-Atlantic shipping cost is a moot point.

Here are a few British breakers who specialize in Jags. I've purchased from all and have had nothing but positive results. Best to call or e mail as very little of their stock shown online.
Grublogger | XJSstuff | Used Jaguar Parts | Used Jaguar Spares | Jaguar Breakers | XJ-S | XJR-S | XJS
Just Jaguar XJS Parts and Spares, all models 1975 to 1996
https://blackcountryjag.weebly.com/

And of course there is https://picclick.co.uk/ which searches all ebays at once. Pretty sure you'll find your bumper cover at one of the above.
Just in case, shipping from this side of the atlantic isn't all that bad. I had a complete TWR body kit ( front and rear bumpers, side skirts and rear spoiler shipped from Britain to Vancouver BC, Canada and the cost was only $250 cdn. which = approx 140 gpd's
The bumper your looking for usually retails for around 100-200 on craigslist in the US. That would mean a total cost of approx 300 gpd delivered.
I usually use my shipping guru which compares alot of the shipping companies prices. Prices can differ quit a bit.

Good luck

Dont worry Thanks for looking anyway.
Currently the car is at a Jag specialists (lots of them around luckily for me) for a few things anyway. Plus the guy can find parts cheaper than I can most of time as he has more contacts around the area.
If he cant find Jag bits in the place they were made then I worry for everyone else if they ever need something.
