Rims, Wheels and the like
So my next mission now. With my XJS, is to get rid of the old person looking wheels this thing came with. Granted the ones I want to replace them with could be considered the same I think, but the ones on it was just....... plain. Not sure what the style or name of these are that I am looking for, all I know is if I still had my 740i when I bought the Jag, I would have done a rim/ tire swap because I found they are the same bolt pattern. (Going to attempt to see if the picture will post now as to what I am looking for.......)
If you peek at my garage pic, those are what's on it now. And I dont like the looks of them. IF you are interested in them, or know where I could snag a set of what I Am going to try attaching to this post, PLEASE let me know.

Well bad thing is, I only have 4. Ford thought it was a good idea to make the spare a donut.... Condition is what could be expected for Mid west winters... The previous owner did drive it in the winter. When I get the car back I can take some detailed shots and send them to you if you are interested.

The "garage pic" isn't too clear but I think those are simply called "20 spoke" wheels. What you're looking for are called "Lattice" or "Sport Lattice" wheels....or in early Jaguar brochures simply "Sport" wheels. Very "80s" style but I think they are nice looking.
Shouldn't be too hard to find them in the 15x6.5" size as many, many thousands of XJSs were thusly fitted. If you're looking for the Lattice style in the 16x7 or 16x8 size, be prepared to wait....and pay

Are you sure? 5-on-4.75" ?
I woulda thought BMW used a metric bolt circle dimension. Is the BMW bolt circle 120.65mm ? If so, you might get varying opinions about using those wheels on a 4.75" bolt circle.
Cheers
