RPM Gauge

I have a 1995 XJS Coupe and I just got in started it and noticed all the gauges worked except the RPM gauge any suggestions where I can look?

Many posts here, remove instrument cluster, clean all electrical connections of any corrosion, add good ground jumper to frame.
Fixes almost ANY intermittent gauges or lamps, especially speedo and tach gauges.
