Had the XJS in today for oil change etc. (I don't get under it anymore). Bad news. They told me that it pretty close to being unsafe to drive due to the floor pan rusting out. I looked, and it is bad. And this wasn't an attempt to sell me anything, they said that since it's of unibody construction, they wouldn't even try (and they do restorations). They think that if it were in a collision, or even hit a really big pothole, it might fall apart.

So, time to say goodbye, and look for a replacement.

If anyone is aware of a '87 or '88 that is in decent shape I'd like to hear about it.
