Default Seat swap question

I have acquired some front seats from an 88 coupe that I plan to use in my 89 convertible. A quick look at the bases seems to be different. The coupe has a lot of motors and stuff showing while the convertible doesn't. Does anyone know if it is possible to swap things around? Thanks for any help

I purchased some sports pack seats new from jaguars which had no mechanism and I had the choice of manual or electric sub frames, so if there all sports pack or at least the same type of seat there wont be a problem

Ok thanks. Do you know if it's possible to swap the seat covers over. Is it a big job?

most i'v done is fit heater elements and lumber supports to them. I don't think I would want to remove the covers, the sub frames are only attached by four bolts not hard to remove at all.

I swapped '89 coupe into an '89 convertible. I just re-used the convertible seat tracks and ditched the male side seatbelt

If I swap the seat runners Greg will the electrics still be the same?. Also what do you mean about ditching the male side seatbelt? Overall is it fairly straightforward would you say?

Wires were the same. The coupes had a retracting lap belt that attaches to the seat rail. Convertibles don't have this. Project was super easy.
