shifter knob
Dears:
As you know for post '93 cars the shifter knob has been redesigned. Are there ways to retrofit it to the older dual conical type? I kind of prefer the older type with wood...

It might be. My '90 is a Classic Collection and one of the 'features' was a leather shift knob rather than the "T" style shifter. I also preferred the old style, and wanted wood handles so I made the switch. If the shifter assembly is the same in '93 as '90, I can attest that it can be returned to the "T" style.
It was almost 20 years ago, so I can't give detailed instructions, but I purchased the chrome shifter from earlier model years and then aftermarket burl wood handles. I don't recall it be a particularly difficult job.
