Default Signal Light rRepair

The right front signal light looked darker than the left side. It turns out that the chrome finish inside the light housing was peeling off and gone. The problem is though the lens does not separate from the housing. It is one piece. I did not want to buy a new light cause they are pretty pricey and hard to find. So I took a coping saw (very thin blade) and cut the lens from the housing. It was easier than I thought it would be. Then I got some chrome spray paint and painted the inside of the housing. With silicone I glued the lens back on and put it back in the car. I'm letting it dry and will post the results later.

The light is back in the car and it looks just like the other side. That's what I wanted. All's well. If it lasts, and I think it should, that will be great.
