stretching the v12, offset grinding.
since i have some major wear on the rods, and i am in need of it being ground, im thinking of having it offset ground for some maximum liters.
Anyone with ANY info on rods, pistons, and how much to grind let me know. Thank you!

YEP......... Offset grind without welding can yield about an extra 4mm stroke (Jag journal 2.3") if using chev large journal rods (2.1) or a little more if you use (2.0) small journal rods. 2.1 journal will give you 5.7L.
If you open the bore to 93mm (93.5mm is max over bore on stock liners) will give 6.1L. And as you will need to change the pistons anyway I would bore as well.
When stroking the piston pin must be moved so you will need pistons. If I were you I would save up for some custom jobs. I have done a lot research on this and modifying something is possible but the cost saving once you take into account all of the machining is barely worth it.
Chev rods in 6.0" will work but will need a small amount of machining, but these are dirt cheap for 2 sets of 600hp I beam.
Hope this helps
