Default Tevez brake pressure switch swap

Hi all, has anyone swapped the earlier black capped brake switch for the blue capped one on the tevez system. If so what changes are needed regarding the relays or any wiring? Thanks in advance

I did that swap years ago for a customer but the switch works backward on one circuit so I had the use a relay the get the pressure switch correct.

I've had a look on jaguar classic parts and its showing the same relays for both switches. I've read there is an issue with the relays so any idea which one you swapped and what did you replace it with? Thanks

Look at a schematic of the switch differences. XJ40 vs XJ-S

I think one is NO (Normally Open) and one is NC (Normally Closed) pressure switches.

I had to use a relay (wired outside of the circuit) to swap the way the contacts worked.

It was many years ago and I don't remember all the details but it worked. The XJ40 switches are very easy to find compared to the XJ-S units.
