Default Trolley Jack 3tonne with Safety Lock

Greetings Gentlemen

Sealey

the links are for a Sealey 3t Trolley Jack with a Locking mechanism that automatically locks the jack in three different positions through out the stroke.

I am impressed with it and think it would be a very handy piece of kit to have.

I would not, for safety reasons get under a car supported by a hydraulic jack...most jacks actually have this warning stated on them.....but as this has a Mechanical locking mechanism, well if it is as good as it looks, it would be fine to get under a vehicle properly supported by one of these jacks.

Does anyone have any first hand experience with this Jack....?....

i am in Australia and looks like these are only available through Sealey in England...?

Does anyone else distribute these or is there another brand out there that has the same features.

They are expensive but they seem worth the effort.....?

All good

Darren

Hopefully all jacks eventually have this. For now, the price far exceeds simply having 2 jackstands, which are also useful elsewhere. Pass for now.

Looks like a nice floor jack, but I'd still prefer jack stands - they seem more stable - and the floor jack is still on wheels even if the height is locked.
