Turn Signals don't work - Hazards flash when HELD
Hello everyone, trying to help my dad with his Jaguar XJS 92'.
ALL bulbs are working, the hazards flash when you hold the hazard button down.
When you try to use turn signals, they don't flash in the dash or on the car, NONE of them. The releys and fuse seem fine but what is the proper way to test?
Appears to be NO VOLTAGE to the terminal 49 relay.
THANKS SO MUCH GUYS

lack of use of the hazard switch can make the contacts a little green , so press the button up to 50 times, this may or maynot clean the contacts
the switch can be taken apart to clean , but its about a billion bits inside
otherwise its a replacement hazard switch

Remove the switch, take it apart and clean it would be best. Take note or how it goes back together.
If you don't want to take the switch apart you could remove it from the car, spray electrical contact cleaner thru cracks. Then let it sit a few minutes then blow out with compressed air. Reinstall switch and it should work.
