V-12 Transmission
I'm looking for some help any one ever use a different auto trans on a v-12? I have a '91 xjs and want to keep the auto but would like a fourth or fifth? gear like say a 700r4. I have yet to look at the bolt pattern to see if it will work. I am assembling parts to do in a year(next winter) motor and all is coming out. Just thought I'd ask. Thanks
Before I changed my 91 over to a 5sp manual I looked into a Gear Vendors set up. It just replaces the rear part of the TH400. It does involve "tunnel" work and $cost$. Check it out for details .
