Default V12 head gasket issue

Can the head on A side be removed from my 1989 HE be removed while in car.
What kind of issues will I run into. I know I will need the head removal tool.
Engine runs well but loosing a small amount of coolant. A small amount of pressure build up in system. It will bleed through a 16 psi cap. I can understand the chev conversions. I have a chev powered Xj6. What I am driving now. Mr. reliable. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It can be done. I would think a conversion would be far more trouble than repairing the V12.

I am still pondering. I do love my XJ-6 with a 350 chev. I will do some more research.
From what I have seen, the heads on the Jag are ,somewhat, difficult to remove with the engine out. It requires a fixture to remove them without damage, as well as a lift to remove them straight up. All this would not be a problem with the engine out. We shall see.
It sounds like you will have one great XJS. Good luck.
