Default wanting a 94-96 xjs 6.0 v12

Any advice? Price? And wide spread problems with the v12? Any years better than others? I really like the idea of buying a 96 since it was the last year.

Good luck for the '96 V12 XJS idea. Records seem to show only three (3) were sent to the USA. You might find one in Canada.

I have '94 and '95 V12 Convertibles. They are both great. Take your time. Low mileage ones (less than 20K miles) come on the market at all times.

Hey thanks for the reply,
Are there really that many xjs with 6.0's with less than 20K miles? What would be a fair price for a 94 or 95 with the v12 with less than 20K cost?
Thanks for any info!

Based on my experience, a 94 or 95 with that milage, and presumbably in remarkable considition otherwise, could reach $15k-$20k. I just bought a 1994 v12 with 80k miles and I paid $8900. It is what I would describe as near mint (there is soft wear on the drivers seat or else it would be mint -- very clean inside and out). All in all, you can get an excellent example of the XJS, that is only a few years from being a "classic," for less than $10K. For more than that, you can get a exemplary example. Good luck with your search.

Definitely need to watch the online sales. Last I checked there weren't many on the market I track the '95 v12 convertibles since I have one. Most had higher mileage (50k miles +) and were all in the $18-$25k range.

go for it! i have the 85 model and LOVE the car, but it the rear brakes will be needed within a few months it looks like and they are a lot easier to change on the later models. also the 6.0 i hear is much better than the 5.3 haha
