Some of the engine was disassembled when I got this car, and I've managed to figure out most of it but this one has me stumped. It looks like an electric vacuum control valve, but it could be a fuel valve too I suppose? Can anyone identify it and tell me where it goes?

 

Looks like an EAV---extra air valve. It should fit into a grommet on the backside of the RH air filter housing. When the a/c compressor is engaged (virtually always) iy admits a little "extra air" to kick up the idle speed a bit

Ahhh...the air housings were removed already when I got the car, but I'm changing to a cold air intake and deleted the A/C anyway. Thanks Doug!
