Default Window channel air/weather striping

I was wondering where I may be able to buy some Window channel air/weather striping for the 89 XJS12. Its located in the channel or pocket to the vertical rear of the drivers side door window channel which means I get a wind whistle right in my left ear while driving because the origional piece is about 2 inches short.

It looks like it fell into the door but all attemps to pull it up and out lead nowhere.
If I could find a 1 foot piece of it, I would just splice it into the the door and be done with it. Easy fix if I knew where to get the rubber stipping with felt inside the channel where the glass touches.

Any suggestions where I can find this stuff?

PS: I also need a new rubber gromet to insert in the antena hole. It looks like crap without one.

I think you're describing the "window run channel". It's felt lined and fits into the window frame, right? If so, it's part number BBC6292.

The grommet is DAC3588.

Coventry West, Welsh Jaguar, Terrys Jaguar, Pauls Jaguar, Motorcars LTD, Jagbits.....I reckon any of the usual Jag suppliers can fix you up. Or just Google the part numbers.

Cheers

The Bailey channels that the windows run in, this is inside the window frame, comes in a single piece, with molded corners. I replaced both of mine recently.

It took my local parts guy 6 months to source it and then they were way too long and needed to be cut in 2 and spliced together. If I were you I would take a piece of it to somewhere that sells bailey channel to see if they have correct profile.
