Default Winter storage top up or down?

My 94 XJS is asleep in my garage for the winter connected to its charger. My garage is heated, insulated, and a nice place to keep a car. So, do I leave the top up? Or Down?

I always leave the top up for winter storage. It keeps the fabric taut so that it isn't wrinkled in the spring, and also ensures it doesn't shrink. I have a light tan colour top, and I find where it rubs on the rear window seal it leaves black marks, having it up for the winter keeps the rubber off the fabric.

Leave it UP ! I hate the wrinkles when left down. even for a little while. Just cover the top with a cotton sheet if you don't use a car cover .
