decided to put my XJS in a local car show in the town I live sponsored by the city museum. They have had one the past three yrs and thought it would be something to do besides interesting for me since this is the first ever car show I am doing. If anything it should be a fun day and it only a few streets from my house. Did have an interesting thing happened that almost put a dent in my plan. Was straightening and covering some of the wires under the bonnet, 2 days work for me and will post some pic. nothing major just a dress up, went to start the CAT and would crank but no go on start. Since Sunday was trying to figure it out, and just by dumb luck found the problem. When I disconnected the battery to work on the dressing up, I accidently unplugged the 2 wire connectors on the positive battery cable. Only found that because I thought maybe my ECU went, and thought I would try the spare one I have, had the battery removed to have it oout of the way, made the change over, set the battery in on the trunk floor, when I went to hook the pos, lead up that's when I saw them. Now to get the inside cleaned up a bit for the show.
