Hi, does anyone know if the drivers and passengers seat control modules are interchangeable and seats still function (with the exception of the memory function)?

looking at the parts catalog, there are two groups of part numbers:
LHB2160AA
and
LHB2165AA

I’m assuming one has the memory function and the other doesn’t, but can you just swap them around, and in effect plug the switch with memory function, into the module without memory function, and the seat controls still work?

Any help much appreciated.

 

I think they have different connectors, but it's been years since.
Can you open up the drivers side box?
You might find it damaged by corrosion which can be cleaned up.
Could also be loose solder joints.
