xjs will crank, but not start
i have a 94 xjs v12 and i recently replaced the torsional damper. when i had everything put back together, i tried to start the car but my battery had been drained because i forgot to take the negative terminal off. so i charged it and attempted to try it again. the car would crank slowly but not start. i tested my battery and realized i had 3 dead cells, so i went and bought a new battery. now the car cranks a little quicker but will still not start. not really sure where to check next. ive gone through all the fuses in my factory manual but i cant find a fuse that would seem like its the problem...any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
UPDATE:: I have started testing and I have power to both coilpacks, but I have no spark on either bank. I was doing my research and heard that sometimes a crank position sensor going bad can cause an engine to crank but not start, so i replaced it and I still have the same problem. The car will crank and crank but not start...any help...im running out of possibilities...
Does your 94 have an inertia switch, my 89 has one on the pillar just under the A pillar on the drivers side if I pull the piston up this will give the same symptom. Also check the adjustment of the sensor on the reluctor wheel on the crack pulley.
