IDK if its the belt or pulley!! But it is annoying me. This started yesterday, with no decrease in power or any warning lights coming on. The car has over 115,000 miles on it runs fine. I'm at a complete lost with the sound. Any help would be appreciated greatly

You could try some belt lubricant. If that doesn't work find a good Indie.

Independent mechanic.

How old is the belt? They typically have to be replaced around 60k miles or 5-6 years, whichever comes first.

Does it make the sound with the AC on? Or go away with the AC turned off?

belts have never been replaced to my knowledge. it still makes the sound when the ac is engaged. When you drive it you can't really here it after may a mile or 2 up the road actually the sound seems to calm down as if a normal idle. Belt is 28.50 at advance just can't seem to find the diagram on how to place it on or how to get to the belt with all the plastic covering.

That doesn't sound like belt squeal. More of a alternator bearing or tensioner pulley sound.

The belt on my 2007 started squealing in January but I didn't have the opportunity to go for a spare for about six weeks. On the way home from the dealer, the belt stopped squealing and hasn't made a sound since. New belt is still in the luggage compartment!

Well went to jaguar in atlanta and they said it was all the pulleys. Paid 143 for them to inspect it drove 2 miles down the road and the battery not charging lights comes on since they washed the belt dressing off with a pressure washer. Car lost power on the interstate had to get towed home so ,$109 for the tow $143 for the inspection and now $450 for a mechanic to put the dam alternator on plus the 10 mile tow to take it to him!!! Henessy Jaguar in Atlanta got pist when I wouldn't agree to the $2500 to pay for everything now they wouldn't even pick the phone up when I called for helped on the side of the road.
