2007 Jagur XK - ash tray won't stay open

I recently purchased a 2007 Jaguar XK and noticed that the ash tray will not stay open. Has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?

Mine's broken as well. I'm living with it because I can't bear to pry the veneer console piece up against the leather. My luck I will screw it up and have dents all in it.

I had the same issue with my '07 XK. Had dealer fix it under warranty.
