My top won’t operate. Codes u01088, u014000, u014200, u015500, u019900, u 020000. It says to carry out pinpoint tests in the manual. Does anyone know how to do the pinpoint tests? Thanks

 

No warning on the dash ?
Do the windows drop?
Sometimes a reset, starting from the top open and windows down works.

 

No warning lights on the dash. I will have to put the top down manually. Maybe then I can figure out what is wrong.

 

Convertibles are for woman ... or 007' like Roger Moore ;-)

 

Damn straight. I get TONS of women into my convertible. It's pretty much a magnet for hot chicks.

 

Are you sure that the luggage separator is properly seated? Is the little metal tab intact? If not, the top won't operate.

As a last resort, send a PM to Forum member WhiteXKR (a.k.a. Steve, the Jag Wrangler). He's the inventor of the remote control top - it's what the factory forgot - and may be able to help you.

Let us know about the top separator. And make sure that your battery is fully charged. We'll try to help you fix it.
