There isn't any Volt Meter, just like you can't monitor coolant/oil temps, oil pressure or tire pressures.

That was the biggest surprise this old Corvette owner had to adjust too. There are after market gizmo's that plug into the ODBII port but for some reason Jag feels their owners don't need to know these things. An idiot light is all we need.

Cheers

Tom

Thanks Tom,
I can plug into 'Cigar' lighter for Volts and I have a plug in trunk for my 1 amp charger that I added. This is quicker than opening spare wheel cover to find a ground for the charging stud in left tail light assy.
Will the ODBM II give Temp & Oil pressure?

Thanks again, Adrian

The two most popular aftermarket accessories to read and display valuable data about how your vehicle is operating are the:

UltraGauge - http://www.ultra-gauge.com/ultragauge/index.htm

ScanGuage - ScanGauge - Trip Computer + Digitial Gauges + ScanTools

Both plug into the ODBII port and can read most of the sensors embedded in our cars to read all sorts of "hidden" data our Jag's do not display.

My only concern is how they look; there is no way to mount them so they don't look out of place in the Jag's upscale interior. But if you want/need to monitor and know what's going under the hood before an IDIOT light comes on I'd suggest either of these devices.

Good luck

Tom

PS: There are many YouTube video's on either of these devices in use.
