2007 xkr losing value faster then you can blink
If your talking about being the president yes it sure would.
Even if you screwed up and got bailed out you still got to keep your job making 15 mill a year.

Car Economics are always interesting and I have never bought a new car.
Now on my 3rd Jaguar I always buy them when they are about 4 or 5 years old. My last two were XJ6 saloons and I ran them for 11 years each and they did high mileage of between 180K and 190K before I changed them.
Now I have the XKR-S and a big smile. These are great cars and I hope I have as much enjoyment as with the XJ6. Certainly the first 2 years with this car has been wonderful.
When I work out the cost per year for running a Jag, it is good value for special motoring. I use Jaguar specialists rather than dealers as each time I use a dealer I have had problems afterwards and thy are generally more expensive.
So far my Jaguar ownership has cost me about 1,000 to 1500 GBP per year including maintenance. The XKR-S a little more as I have such lovely tyres.
My formula is buy a carefully used car and keep it until it starts to not be economic. Usually over a decade.

Hi, just wanted to add my few thoughts also. I have just upgraded to the newer 2012 model (with daylight running LED lights) and traded in my 2007 reg xkr. I paid £48,000 back in 2009 when I bought it from a Jag dealer but now I only got £22k in trade in. I suppose no one wants the older version, thank goodness the new facelift for the xkr has been delayed till 2015/16.
