2008 Jag XKR Headlamp Assembly
Hello All,
We purchased a gorgeous Electric Blue 2008 Jaguar XKR a year or so ago. Absolutely love the car! Great for road trips and in-town driving. A real head turner. The driver's side headlamp adaptive front lighting functionality system stopped working and we were able to find a new light for the low, low price of $600 bucks on eBay (new from Jaguar, they are $3,000 dollars!). I bought the manual and am ready to DIY. The manual makes it look relatively easy in a total of 22 steps for uninstall and install for 86.41.33. The headlamps are Xenon. Any thoughts before I unscrew myself? Thx for your help! JL & KH

Very simple uninstall... there are two bolts inside the bonnet for each headlight very easy to locate, then the unit pulls forward and out. ??? Is there one bolt inside the inner fender lining? Now I'm not sure, but I think there is..... Be aware that the Washer System hose needs to be disconnected underneath the unit when it comes out. All of it should take about four minutes each.
Don't forget to disconnect the electrical once pulled out a bit.
So anyway, two or three bolt/screws (plus any fender liner screws if it doesn't pull right out) and that one hose and electrical connector.

Three bolts + washer pipe connection. It helps to turn the steering to full lock to access the lower bolt inside the wheelarch liner.
