Default 2008 XK Chrome Window Trim Question - RESOLVED

For some reason about 3 inches of the rubber weather stripping has pulled out from underneath the chrome trim (right above the side view mirror). I cannot for the life of me tuck it back underneath. Maybe a dumb question but does this mean that the trim needs to come off in order to get it back under?
I remember seeing a thread about someone having their trim damaged and having to replace it but couldn't find the thread when I did a search. Thanks!

are you talking about the rubber behind the window surround . My surround was damaged so I had to replace the entire thing, it was extremely tedious getting the rubber behind it to sit in the allocated groves

The stainless steel/rubber Waist Rail that goes on here?

When I had this one off it didn't look like the rubber was intended to or could be separated.

It was exactly where Steve's first arrow is pointing.
Turns out I was able to work it back in last night with a flathead screwdriver and my thumbnail but as he said it was very tedious. Hopefully it will stay in place. Thanks
